2026 Annual General Meeting <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Notice of the 2026 Annual General Meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 10 March 2026 at 7.30pm at The Queen\u2019s Stand, Epsom Downs Racecourse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please come along if you can. This AGM is a particularly important one for the future of the Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you will see from the agenda we will be proposing that the Society merge with College and Town Wards to form a unified RA for the new Town and Downs Division to reflect the arrangements for the new East Surrey Unitary Council.  The merger will take place before the new Council comes into full operation in April 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  4. Election of the Honorary Auditor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Election of committee members for 2026-27<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Chair\u2019s Report and Reports from our three Ward Councillors<\/a> Cllr Froud Report <\/a> Cllr Frost Report<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Proposal to merge Woodcote Ward with College Ward and Town Ward to form a unified RA for the new Town and Downs Division in the coming months. If the merger proposal is approved by all 3 RAs, W(E)RS will have representation on the new unified RA Cttee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    The AGM is an opportunity for you to hear what is going on in our area, what is planned and what needs to be considered. It is also a chance for us to hear from you about the things you would like to see change in the Ward. Please come along if you can and inform our thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
    The Society\u2019s AGM will be held on Tuesday 11 March 2025 at 7.30pm at the Epsom Sports Club, Woodcote Road, Epsom, Surrey KT18 7QN.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Before the formal business there will be a talk by Hannah Dalton, Epsom and Ewell Borough Council Leader, Chair of the Surrey Leaders Group and a Member of the Surrey Local Government Reform Steering Committee. She will be explaining the role the Epsom Residents Association Group is taking to negotiate the best outcome for residents from the proposed local government reforms across Surrey.<\/strong>
