The main reason for refusal was that the proposed development would constitute inappropriate development in the Green Belt and was also in an unsustainable location outside the built-up area without good public transport links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant has now appealed the decision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The details of the appeal and relevant documents can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eplanning.epsom-ewell.gov.uk\/online-applications\/appealDetails.do?activeTab=documents&amp;keyVal=QZ45TMGY0BY00\">here<\/a> on the EEBC website.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional information is available on the Planning Inspectorate website which is linked <a href=\"https:\/\/acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk\/ViewCase.aspx?caseid=3280881\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This appeal constitutes a precedent-setting challenge to the principle of development in Epsom and Ewell\u2019s Green Belt as a whole and it is therefore important that those who share the view that such development should not be permitted make their views formally known to the Inspector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accordingly, Woodcote (Epsom) Residents Society (WERS) is holding a public briefing at the&nbsp;<strong>Langley Vale Village Hall from 7-9 pm on 21st April 2022<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leaflet announcing the meeting and providing details of the issues and arguments and how to object to the Inspector <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodcoteepsomresidentssociety.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Langley-Bottom-Farm-Planning-Appeal-Leaflet-Final.pdf\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please share this information, come along on the 21st of April or email WERS for additional information or with any questions.
