The outline application for up to 110 dwellings at Langley Bottom Farm is to be considered by EEBC Planning Committee on Thursday 26 February 2026 after a seven month delay. The paper can be found here.
As you will see the Borough Officers are recommending approval despite the strong evidence provided by a whole range of stakeholders about why the application should be rejected.
After all the delays the application is the last item on a long agenda!
John Mumford, Chair of the Action Group will be representing the views of the Action Group and LV residents at the meeting and Cllr Steven McCormick will be speaking against the proposal and seeking refusal.
It is a public meeting so if you want to attend the meeting and demonstrate to the Committee the strength of feeling against the proposal make sure you arrive before the meeting starts at 7.30pm.
