We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed so generously to our fundraising campaign.
This has made it possible to be a Rule 6 participant in the Inquiry. This means we will be considered a main party at the Inquiry alongside the appellant and the Council. We will be able to present our case and cross examine witnesses.
It has enabled us to commission our planning consultant Carl Thomas to act for and support the Langley Vale Action Group. We have submitted our Statement of Case and Carl is now preparing detailed proofs of evidence to present at the Inquiry which begins on 15 September 2026.
We want to thank the Epsom & Walton Downs Training Grounds Management Board for their generous donation towards the cost of the Inquiry and we will be working closely with them to ensure their concerns in particular about the highways element and Horse and Rider safety aspect of the application form part of our case at the Inquiry.
It is also good news that the Planning Inspector has agreed that the ecology of the site will be considered at the Appeal.
